Adelaide show sold out – tickets for all other shows on sale now

MELBOURNE (FRIDAY, MAY 23, 2025) - Following their sold-out 2024 UK and European tour, Palace return to our shores next month in support of their new EP, Greyhound, kicking off on Wednesday, June 25 at Sydney’s Enmore Theatre.  A favourite of Australian audiences, the band was last in Australia to play headline shows in 2022 and 2023, along with an unforgettable performance at Splendour in the Grass.

Today, Palace announce 4 exciting Australian artists who will support them across the tour. Girl and Girl will take the honours in Sydney and Brisbane, The Belair Lip Bombs will open in Melbourne, Adelaide’s sold-out show will fire up with Swapmeet, and Humble Armada will kick off the last show of the tour at Metropolis Fremantle.

Palace recently released their atmospheric new single, Greyhound. Drenched in reverb and featuring Leo Wyndham’s enchanting vocals, the track comes from the EP of the same name and marks a new chapter for the band as they release it under their own label, Palace Presents.

ABOUT GIRL AND GIRL

In one sense, it’s easy for artists—songwriters, specifically—to express their feelings in their work. After all, that’s what the lyrics are for! But it’s much harder to convey emotional energy in how you play, slash at the guitar, and the structure of the music itself. That’s precisely why Girl and Girl’s Sub Pop debut, Call A Doctor, feels like such a vital, electrifying shock to the senses. Not since the early work of Car Seat

Headrest or Conor Oberst’s widescreen emotional brutality as Bright Eyes has indie rock managed to come across as this intimate and grandiose, as the Australian quartet led by Kai James lay a lifetime’s worth of woes—mental health, the human race’s planned obsolescence if you’ve been living on this cursed rock you know what we’re getting at—across a canvas of indie rock that feels both timeless and in-the-moment.

ABOUT THE BELAIR LIP BOMBS

Comprising four friends (Maisie, Mike, Jimmy and Dev) from the coastal town of Frankston, Victoria - The Belair Lip Bombs craft heartfelt and hook laden indie rock songs connected by the group’s close bond and friendship. Led by Maisie Everett (Vocals, guitar), the group formed in 2017.

Following a number of EP and single releases, the group made their most defining statement on 2023’s ‘Lush Life’ - a record spanning 10 tracks of evocative exploration; stories that run a gamut of longing, seeking new horizons and discovering new paths to satisfaction and self fulfilment. If debut albums are meant to serve as the gateway, a first impression, then The Belair Lip Bombs’ introductory effort paints a vibrant and emotive portrait of a band truly finding their sound. They are set to release their sophomore album this year.

ABOUT SWAPMEET

Swapmeet are an Adelaide/Kaurna Country based four piece who are set to release their debut album in the latter of 2025. With indie rock foundations, characterised by sonic experimentation, and a punk spirit, Swapmeet are known in the Adelaide circuit for their playful, chaotic onstage presence. Having accumulated organic success with their debut EP with over 230,000 streams with no paid marketing or editorial playlist adds - Swapmeet are building a strong and consistent fanbase across Australia and international territories. After a successful showcasing debut at BIGSOUND 2024, the band returned home for the South Australian Music Awards where Swapmeet were awarded "Best Release" for their debut EP "Oxalis" and "Best Song" for fan favourite "Ceiling Fan".

ABOUT HUMBLE ARMADA

Based out of Boorloo/Perth, Western Australia - Humble Armada are a five piece shoegaze outfit making a reputation for themselves across Australia for their confident and captivating live performances. After recently supporting the likes of Yard Act and The Brian Jonestown Massacre - Humble Armada are currently in the studio recording their forthcoming EP set for release October 2025.
