ABOUT SODAGREEN:
From a background in indie rock and folk to several chart-topping hits and top-seller albums, sodagreen’s absence of expectations or affectations and deep emotional connections have captured audiences across the world. Early on in their career, Sodagreen made history as the first indie band to hold a concert at Taipei Arena and hold the record for the longest concert ever held at the venue, and have gone on to perform them many more times. No strangers to music awards, and regulars at Greater China’s most prestigious music awards - Golden Melody Awards (GMA), the band's lead vocalist Wu Qing-Feng as an individual and as sodagreen have received 35 GMA nominations and won 9 awards, marking them as one of the most influential bands in Mandopop music history.
After a brief hiatus, sodagreen returned in 2020 with the single “Tomorrow will be fine.” In 2023, they embarked on a two-year project to re-record all ten albums—from their debut sodagreen to Winter Endless. As their 20th-anniversary concert kicked off in 2024, the final chapter of the “Vivaldi Project”—four seasonal albums—unfolded in sync with the seasons. Over the year, sodagreen traveled through Tokyo, London, Beijing, and Berlin to reinvent their classic works, sharpening the legacy of their past. Now, with the re-recording project complete, the concert channels twenty years of musical evolution into one seamless experience.
Uniting a world-class production team, the 20th-anniversary concert brought together collaborators who’ve worked with Muse, Beck, and Childish Gambino, alongside a visual arts crew behind Coldplay, Glass Animals, and PJ Harvey, plus experts in German orchestral pre-recording. Nearly 300 international artists joined the performance, along with over 20 animators who crafted dynamic visuals reflecting the flow of the four seasons. Through innovative lighting and imagery, the show transforms time into a vibrant spectacle—complete with hidden surprises honoring sodagreen’s storied past.
