Ticketmaster Australia extends Mushroom Group relationship with MG Live, launching with the announcement of Fridayz Live

Ticketmaster Australia is reaffirming its dedication to live entertainment by growing its longstanding relationship with the Mushroom Group.

Under the partnership, Ticketmaster will exclusively ticket MG Live events held at uncontracted venues and greenfield sites across the country, launching with Fridayz Live 2025, the crown jewel for MG Live.

This arrangement will build on the successful partnership that Ticketmaster has had with Fridayz Live – one of the country’s most successful touring concert events - since its inception in 2016.

MG Live, known for its innovative approach to live events and its ability to transform any location into a world-class venue, is poised to take advantage of Ticketmaster Australia's robust ticketing platform as it continues to create and deliver exciting new experiences.

Kane Kete, Director - Artist and Promoter Relations of Ticketmaster, said: “We are excited to continue expanding our relationship with Mushroom Group, through our new partnership with MG Live, after the extension of our deal with Roundhouse Entertainment earlier this year.

Our established relationship with the team and proven track record of successfully delivering Fridayz Live have helped create unforgettable live experiences for countless fans, and we look forward to playing our part in delivering many more.”

Matt Gudinski, Chief Executive of MG Live, said: “I’m excited to build on the success that we have had in our previous partnerships with Ticketmaster Australia, including their long-standing involvement with Fridayz Live, which has been going since day one.

This partnership allows us to focus on what we do best – creating amazing live experiences -  while Ticketmaster delivers a seamless ticketing and entry experience for fans.”
