MELBOURNE, AU (August 12, 2025) – Texan country rock outfit Treaty Oak Revival have today announced their Takes Australia! headline tour dates, rounding out their first visit to the country this October. These performances come in addition to their previously announced appearances at the inaugural Strummingbird Festival on the Sunshine Coast and in Newcastle.
With diverse musical backgrounds, Treaty Oak Revival have crafted a unique sound that defies easy categorization. Blending the rich traditions of Texas Red Dirt country with influences from punk and southern rock, they deliver a raw, refreshingly unpolished vibe. The band has gained recognition for their heartfelt lyrics and engaging live performances, capturing the essence of Texas music culture. Their latest single, “Happy Face,” along with their most recent album, “Have a Nice Day,” is available for streaming on all platforms.
Supporting on all dates is Australian country artist, Wade Forster. With fans from Tennessee to Tamworth, he’s racked up over 50 million global streams – an unheard-of feat for an independent Australian country artist.

ABOUT WADE FORSTER:
Wade Forster doesn’t just sing country music—he’s lived it. Born, raised, and still working on a cattle station deep in the Queensland outback, his life has been built on dust, hard work, and long days in the saddle. A professional rodeo cowboy, he’s spent years on the circuit, chasing buckles, riding hard, and living the kind of stories most country singers only write about.
Music was always there – blaring through truck speakers, rattling off tin roofs, or belted out the back of a Gooseneck, but in 2017, after moving to Mount Isa for work, he picked up a $50 guitar and taught himself to play. A 2021 cover of Tyler Childers’ “Oneida” went viral, inspiring him to record his debut album The Beginning using rodeo winnings. The raw, honest songs resonated deeply, exploring depression, love, loss, and the realities of rural life. Wade hustled from the ground up – playing small gigs, driving hours for little pay, and in 2023, attending the CMAA Senior Academy of Country Music with a goal to crack the top 10 of Toyota Star Maker. In January 2024, he did more than that—he won it, launching him as one of Australia’s most exciting new country voices.
A career-defining moment came when Wade invited U.S. country star Cody Johnson to rope at an Aussie rodeo, leading to Wade performing for 25,000 fans at Rod Laver Arena and later competing in the COJO Championship Event in Texas. In July 2024, he hosted a pop-up show at the Fort Worth Stockyards that drew hundreds of die-hard fans, proving his reach extended well beyond Australia. Without a record label, without industry backing, and without ever setting foot on a U.S. stage, The Beginning found its way across the world, earning over 50 million global streams. In early 2025, Wade co-headlined the Low Down Under Tour with The Lowdown Drifters, selling out iconic U.S. venues and solidifying his place in American country music. Now, with his first North American headline run – the Last of a Dying Breed Tour – selling out across the U.S., Wade continues to bring his unfiltered, lived-in stories to fans from Texas to Tennessee.
Through it all, Wade remains exactly who he’s always been—a rodeo cowboy first, a singer-songwriter second, and a man whose stories are best told in a saddle or a song.
